The Latin American Youth Center seeks a communications intern to support the development of philanthropic communications, write social media messages, and support the execution of the organization's communication strategy. The ideal candidate will be an undergraduate or graduate student who is a responsible, detail-oriented self-starter with strong communication, Internet, and Microsoft Office skills. The position is predominantly clerical and administrative in nature (data entry, typing, research, filing, copying, phones), but special projects may be assigned depending on the needs of the department and the skills of the candidate. This is an exciting opportunity to work at a nationally recognized youth serving organization and to learn the principles of nonprofit communications from a seasoned team of professionals. This is a great opportunity to gain a wealth of experience in a fast-paced and supporting environment. If you are interested in this position, please send a resume, cover letter with availability to Araceli Rosenberger, Development & Communications Manager.
