Improve the lives and care of veterans by becoming a leisure skills volunteer at our inpatient mental health units at the Battle Creek VA Medical Center. In this setting, volunteers have the opportunity to share their unique hobbies and interests with veterans by providing information to about these activities as well as taking apart of these activities with a veteran. Volunteers are welcome everyday, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. We are also looking for volunteers with artistic or musical skills to share their talents during this time.

The Battle Creek VA Medical Center is the parent organization for VA health care in southwest Michigan which includes Community Based Outpatient Clinics in Muskegon, Grand Rapids, Benton Harbor and Lansing. We are proud of our dedicated volunteers who assist staff in a variety of ways throughout the Medical Center and Community Based Outpatient Clinics.
