Heart of Hospice hosts a Tuck-In program on Thursday afternoons. Volunteers call patients from our office to make sure they have supplies needed for the upcoming weekend. You will work under the direct supervision of a Volunteer Coordinator at all times and have a script to guide you through all of the calls. This is a fun, easy and heart-warming activity available to those who want to get involved with Heart of Hospice but don't know where to start.

Description
Hospice care is the comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach of providing palliative care to an individual at the end stage of life. Hospice also cares for the entire family, extending care and support throughout the mourning period. Respect for individual cultural and religious beliefs is afforded to all patients receiving hospice care.
