(PLk313) If you enjoy knitting, crocheting and/or quilting, Project Linus NJ (aka Blankee Depot) welcomes your time and talent to help them provide homemade "hugs" for children undergoing medical illness and trauma. This ongoing opportunity is dependent upon your free time and access to yarn and fabric supplies. Project Linus proudly supports NJ children in need statewide and welcomes your volunteer spirit!

Description
VMC provides volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups of all ages through our affiliation with over 500 not-for-profits, schools and government entities. VMC goes beyond matching to educating volunteers. Professional development is offered to volunteer managers, agency boards, and individuals wishing to serve on a not-for-profit board of directors. Business partnerships enable us to assist them in planning and executing volunteer projects. In addition, outreach and senior services are offered through friendly visiting and telephone reassurance programs.
