Calling all groups! Help restore the only National Park devoted to the Mississippi River. We are looking for groups of 15-50 to help with habitat restoration projects in the Twin Cities metro area. Help us remove garlic mustard while looking for spring ephemerals, restore prairies or help us remove the dreaded buckthorn, an invasive species that has taken over many of our river’s most beautiful landscapes. The river needs your help and we will work with you to create an event that works for your group. Whether you are a group of employees, scouts, or families - we hope to see you in our National Park on the Mississippi this summer!
To set up a volunteer habitat restoration event this summer, please contact awaugh@missriverfund.org or 651-291-9119.
