Help us find funding so we can help more kitties in need!

Looking for someone who can research grants for domestic animal rescues, finding and updating our existing grant spreadsheet with new names/numbers/addresses and information. Must be able to make phone calls and be able to communicate professionally in person, phone, and email. Ability to format our information into specific grants for submittal.

Grants and donations are what keep non-profit animal rescues alive. We push out nearly 100 grants a year and may hear back from a handful, and may only win one of those handful. The grants are not sizeable, sometimes only a few hundred dollars, but it all helps. As my rescue/sanctuary grows, it is getting harder and harder for me to find the time to get all these grants written and sent out each year. Please think about volunteering to help us possibly bring in more funds to help the fuzzbuckets.

Thank you!

About Fuzzbucket Farm Cat Rescue & Sanctuary

Location:

Wishful Thinking Endeavors 501c3, PO Box 87, Jamestown, OH 45335, US

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide a no-kill environment for mistreated and unwanted felines, promoting the placement of our cats with responsible, loving families and if necessary, a lifetime refuge in our sanctuary.

Description

Wishful Thinking Endeavors (WTE) is a non-profit, 501c3 all volunteer-based animal rescue. WTE, lovingly known as Fuzzbucket Farm by our volunteers and supporters, is a Miami Valley Ohio organization aiming to improve the quality of life for cats (and the occasional domestic dog, rabbit or duck), and also serve the community in raising consciousness towards the protection and care of our beloved pets. Begun as a personal endeavor to help control a cat overpopulation issue on a horse farm, our founder has actively rescued and found forever homes for hundreds of felines for over 15 years.

We make every attempt to place each cat in the best possible home; therefore, they are NOT placed on a "first come, first served" basis. All of our cats are incredibly dear to us so we work hard to make sure they go to kind, loving, forever homes.

All cats brought into WTE are examined and treated by a local vet. Not only are the cats examined but they are also vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered.

We believe there is a home for every cat. Before we will place a cat in his/her forever home, we will do our best to make sure their needs, as well as their new owner's needs, meet both physically and emotionally. We look for people with patient and loving hearts with the understanding of their new fur-baby in mind.

We believe that no cat should be euthanized due to the lack of a home. The cats that are not placed right away will stay here until a suitable home is found for them.
