Dear interested volunteers, if you want to do something REALLY rewarding and you believe in literacy for children and opportunity for teens and young adults then please consider helping us communicate with our tutor/volunteers. We train primarily high school and college students to become reading tutors and we provide ongoing support to help them with training and getting set up in the field. We need people who are comfortable talking to teens and young adults to make phone calls to welcome our tutor trainees into our program and to support them regarding training and tutoring. We'll provide you the necessary orientation so you can answer all of their questions. We're a nationwide charitable non-profit based out of Philadelphia, PA and our mission is to provide every child the opportunity to learn how to read by the end of 5th grade. If you have an interest in helping to reverse the literacy crisis and like working with kids, please consider this opportunity. We definitely need more help. Thank you.
