You want to write about social good. You've been a journalist. You want to write interesting articles about compassion, volunteering, local nonprofits, and how people can help.

Volunteer Description
The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of journalism experience. Ideally you can volunteer for 16 hours per week. A part of that can be done at home. We only require you to be at the office once a week.
You will work with a mature and professional team of individuals with corporate and nonprofit backgrounds.
You’ll meet some great people, be part of a community, help nonprofits, and have a lot of fun.
Key Responsibilities
- Research stories for potential publication on HuffingtonPost, LinkedIn and our blog on variety of nonprofit causes and issues (women's rights, animals, environment, etc.) as well as cities. Write up key findings as short articles for our blog
- Write articles about general trends in compassion, volunteering and nonprofits
- Research and write articles spotlighting specific nonprofits
- 2 years in journalism or content writing
- Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented
