Mistletoe State Park needs volunteers to help the staff with school field trips, particularly in the spring and fall. Large groups are divided into several smaller groups that rotate from station to station, including nature hikes and learning activities in the Nature Center.
Volunteers must like working with kids and be able to follow a simple lesson plan already prepared. Time requirement is approximately 2 hours for each field trip. Volunteers will be notified when trips are scheduled, and may choose when and how often they want to voluteer.
