NOW ACCEPTING APPLICANTS for FALL 2018 (our intern cohort is full for summer, 2018)

Want to help vulnerable people right in your own community? Mitzvah Circle Foundation helps those who are homeless, underserved and who fall through the cracks of traditional services, locally, and across the US. We cut through red tape to get essential items into the hands of those who need them.

Mitzvah Circle Foundation needs Social Work or Human Services Interns or volunteers. Schedule is Monday-Thursday mornings (occassional Sundays or evenings are possible).

Our Human Services Interns will assist with case management, advocacy and empowering the people we serve. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in gaining skills and experience in a grass roots, non-profit organization. Interns will be trained in a variety of ways to support people who are experiencing homelessness, poverty and hunger. Duties will include intake, data collection, ongoing support and assisting people during times of personal challenge in their lives. Interns will gain real-world experience, working directly with individuals, families and other social service organizations. Interns will work under the guidance of a licensed Master of Social Worker (MSW) and our foundation’s Executive Director.

All internships are in Harleysville, PA, about an hour north of Philadelphia.
