If you have a passion for science, technology, engineering, and/or math then volunteer to teach programs or assist with programs through Girl Scouts of North-Central Alabama. Programs are already developed and ready for you to present! All you have to do is follow an established lesson plan. Teach one class once in a while...once a month, once every other week, once a semester. Your commitment is up to you. Not ready to take the lead? We still need your help as an assistant! Pass out information, sign-in students, and be available to help as needed. If interested please visit our website at http://girlscoutsnca.org/volunteer to complete an application. Achieve your goals while helping others. The education provided by our STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) Initiative can give a child the strong foundation required to meet the growing need for skilled science and technology professionals worldwide. Look around your community. Young people need opportunities to change their lives. They also need role models to show them the way. Be that person in YOUR community!
