Saturday, February 6, 2016 - Volunteer with us for Turtle Splash! This is our annual FUNdraiser for our organization. We are now a part of the Eau Gallie Art Districts Founders Day Celebration, that takes place all day long in the Arts District off Highland Avenue. Shifts are listed below, we will have a need for volunteers from 9a until 6p.
We provide inflatable rides for the kids, as well as other fun family-friendly activities and games for the whole family! In the afternoon we race thousands of little plastic numbered turtles in the Indian River through our noodle-course, and people that have adopted these turtles can win great prizes if their turtles cross the finish line first!
We need as many volunteers as we can get to help us set up the park, run the games, supervise the activities, sell turtle adoptions, sell wristbands, etc. We need volunteers to help with the turtle splash race itself in the water, as well as stay after the Turtle Splash race is over to cleanup and break down our areas.
Each shifts has limited availability, so sign up early!
