We are in need of caring and committed people who are looking to make a difference in the lives of terminally ill patients and their families. Simple things such as a listening ear, quiet companionship, reading books or magazines together, watching TV, and so much more can make a huge impact on one's quality of life. We also offer respite services to family members in which a volunteer will spend time with a patient while the family member can take a break for a couple of hours to run errands or just have a little time to themselves.
Patient assignments are available throughout San Diego county and the hours are flexible. We offer free training and cover the cost of all hiring requirements. Are you a veteran? Do you have any special talents such as playing an instrument? We are also always looking for volunteers than can share their expertise and talents! Come join the Remita Health team today!
