We allow groups of 10 people or less to volunteer with our children on a one time basis at our MESA shelter. All volunteers must be 16 years or older, and volunteers are not allowed to bring their children. We have opportunities to work with our Middlers (ages 4-7) or Big Kids (ages 8-11). Groups are welcome to the Center on Saturday nights 6-7pm. We ask your group to prepare an activity which will be entertaining to the kids and allow for group participation, get the necessary supplies and facilitate the activity with the kids. Child Crisis Arizona has an emergency shelter for abused & neglected children, parenting classes offered in the community and at our buildings in Mesa and Phoenix, an Adoption & Foster Care Program, and Early Education Programs. Child Crisis Arizona strives for strong families and safe kids.
