(DAWNmc213bc) Do you love books and like to share your reading experiences? Then consider organizing our Book Club! DAWN Center for Independent Living, a nonprofit organization that empowers people with disabilities to live in the community, is seeking a volunteer to organize and lead a new Morris County Book Club Chapter. The volunteer would recruit members, find a convenient location and set times for meetings, collect membership dues, as well as conduct meetings. DAWN currently sponsors a successful book club in Sparta and would like to start another chapter in Morris County. Youth, adults, seniors groups, special needs volunteers are welcome.

Description
VMC provides volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups of all ages through our affiliation with over 500 not-for-profits, schools and government entities. VMC goes beyond matching to educating volunteers. Professional development is offered to volunteer managers, agency boards, and individuals wishing to serve on a not-for-profit board of directors. Business partnerships enable us to assist them in planning and executing volunteer projects. In addition, outreach and senior services are offered through friendly visiting and telephone reassurance programs.
