Trail Clearing Day at Underhill Preserve

Still stuffed from the stuffing? Are you waddling about after enjoying too much pumpkin pie? Burn off some calories by joining us as we clear the trails at Underhill Preserve in Jericho in time for the Christmas Bird Count in December (this is our most productive count area and the trails have grown in terribly). Tools, gloves and snacks (no Thanksgiving leftovers...we promise!) will be provided for the volunteers, but if you can bring your own gloves, loppers or hand saws that would be great. This is a great chance to explore this preserve which is closed to the public! Work off your holiday feast while doing some good for the environment! The preserve is located near Jericho High School which is the address used in order to show the location on a map.

Directions for Underhill: Due to the sensitive location, we will meet and then carpool to the area where we will park. Please meet in front of the Starbucks in the Whole Foods shopping center in Jericho on Route 107.
