Volunteer a couple hours of your time to help with the 7th Annual Newberg Camellia Festival on Saturday April 11, 2015. This is a jam-packed day full of blooms, Pacific Rim culture, traditional art, and so much more. The Newberg Camellia Festival is free to the public. The day starts with the Camellia 10k, 5k, or trot with an expected 300 participants. The Chehalem Cultural Center will then open for entertainment, music, demonstrations, and traditional art workshops. It will feature food, beverage, nursery, and other vendors that match our camellia/Asian inspired programming. The day will end with the culmination of the Annual Oregon Camellia Society’s statewide bloom competition. Many volunteer jobs for people of all ages, abilities and interests! Help support this important community event by giving some of your time. Your volunteer shift can be anywhere from 2 hours to all day.
