Our mentors meet with one child a week for an hour at a time. They work on important life skills, social skills, and promote academic success. If you become a mentor you will be given the opportunity to impact a child's life in a positive way and to build a relationship with the child as someone he or she looks up to.
The committment to be a mentor is a 3 month minimum but can extend for as long as you'd like it to. Call the Boys and Girls Club and get involved today!

Description
The Boys & Girls Club serves the youth of the Joplin area afterschool and during the summer months. We provide educational enrichment, recreational opportunities, and nutritious meals and snacks. Our staff works hard to ensure that the kids that attend our Club receive the educational attention, the mentoring, and fun and love that they need. We are always looking for volunteers to help us carry out our mission.
