ORGANIZATION: international Experience-USA (iE-USA)

Interested in experiencing new cultures, while earning extra income?

international Experience (iE-USA), a premier international high school student exchange program, is seeking individuals with an interest in promoting cultural awareness and learning. We bring high school exchange students from around the world to the U.S. to live with host families for a semester or a full school year.

As a Local Coordinator, you would be responsible for:

  • promoting our program in your community with marketing materials and tools provided by our company
  • finding and screening potential host families
  • placing students with caring families in local schools
  • supervising and maintaining regular contact with the students and families
  • providing assistance as needed to students, families and schools in compliance with Department of State regulations

This is an independent contractor position that provides an excellent supplemental income. In this highly flexible position, our Local Coordinators are paid $1,000 per student for a full academic year, plus incredible cash and travel incentives.

We are seeking highly self-motivated individuals, who are comfortable promoting our program. Previous experience working or volunteering with youth ages 15 to 17 is preferred. Experience in counseling and/or mediation is beneficial. Experience networking and promoting programs and/or products (i.e., sales, marketing, and non-profit volunteer promotion and outreach) is preferred.

With your help, we can ensure that our students come away from the program with a better understanding of our culture and memories of a lifetime!
Please respond with a cover letter and resume. Or, visit our website to apply online at www.ie-usa.org under the "Jobs at iE" tab.
