SCRAP Denton is always seeking volunteers to help in our retail store. Volunteers are essential to helping us meet our mission through helping to process, price and organize the materials that we get donated. It's a great opportunity for people who love art and craft and who love organizing! Why volunteer at SCRAP? Spend time in a fun, creative and supportive place, contribute to SCRAP's mission and directly impact the success of the organization. Gain skills, experience and knowledge, meet and work along side new and interesting people. It's rewarding for SCRAP and the volunteers.
Volunteers do things like: sort, package and price material donations, organize, tidy and merchandise the SCRAP retail store and provide help with our education program by teaching classes. Other tasks include volunteering at SCRAP events and at events out in the community and making creative SCRAP products such as To-Go Kits or Collage Packs.
