Open your heart and home to a high school foreign exchange student.
iE students, ages 15-18, originate from Germany, Spain, Austria, Thailand and China. Our young adventurers need host families and a safe, caring environment while they attend an American high school for one or two semesters. Traditional and non-traditional families including retired couples, young couples, domestic partners, singles, multi-generational families, etc. are encouraged to apply as hosts.
Host families provide a private or a shared bedroom (with host sibling of the same gender) and three meals a day. Exchange students cover their own personal expenses and medical insurance.
iE is a non-profit student exchange organization that is fully listed with the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel.

Description
iE-USA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational exchange organization that was founded in 2002. We are devoted to building and strenghthening relationships and understanding among the people of the world and believe that learning about other cultures, languages, and customs is the best way to eliminate fears and prejudices. We pride ourselves on providing individual care and direct support to our exchange students, host families, local schools, and iE team members, and we are certified by the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel (CSIET).
