Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity that offers a flexible schedule, enables you to work with really fun people and contributes to the success of your Orangevale Library? If you answered yes we have a perfect opportunity for you.
The Friends of the Orangevale Library receive hundreds of donated materials that are offered for sale at the Friends book store. Library space is limited and that means that a majority of the books have to be boxed and taken to an offsite storage unit.
The materials assistant will stop by the library once or twice a month, pick up and transport the boxes of books to the storage unit.
You will need to provide your own transportation and be able to lift boxes that weigh 30 pounds.
