Have you a dog who is one year or older who loves to be around people and to work with you? Haven Hospice is looking for canines to visit our patients be a Haven ambassador at local Assisted Living Facilities and Nursing Homes. Sharing your pet is very rewarding for the patient, the staff and the pet owner. You must be a Haven Hospice volunteer in order to become involved in this volunteer opportunity.
The required training is ten hours. You dog will receive their own Haven badge along with dog treats and a certificate as a Haven Ambassador. For more information on this and other volunteer opportunites please contact Kathy Furney at 810-2377 or jkfurney@havenhospice.org
