Be on the team to enrich the lives of patients facing life limiting illness. No special skills are required.. Just a compassionate heart and a couple hours a month! Mission Statement
Compassus Hospice & Palliative Care provides end of life care to terminally ill patients and their families through an integrated team of physicians, nurses, social workers, spiritual advisors and trained volunteers. Volunteers are ordinary people with extraordinary love and concern for others, contributing their time, talent and energy at an extraordinary time of life. Volunteer duties may include the following: provide companionship, listen, read, run an errand or cook a meal. Volunteers are assigned to one family.
Description
We invite volunteers to join the Compassus Hospice team if they have two hours per week and are deeply compassionate. Volunteers are fundamental to the hospice concept and a vital part of the hospice team.
