Great Lakes Caring Hospice, a leading care provider in the Midwest, is looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time to provide exceptional end-of-life care to local hospice patients and their families.
If you love to sing or play an instrument, you can share music with a hospice patient in a local nursing facility or patient home. This opportunity is especially appealing to music lovers and music therapy students. Hours are very flexible, weekdays, evenings or weekends. Typically, we ask that you would visit your assigned patient 1-2 hours per week, but a minimum of 4 hours a month is required of any volunteer.More opportunities with Great Lakes Caring Hospice Greenwood

Our mission is to improve the quality of life for patients with terminal diagnosis and their families, by providing high quality care, compassion and support.
Great Lakes Caring Hospice offers a full range of health care services such as medical and nursing care, spiritual and emotional support, social work, personal care, special therapies, volunteer and bereavement services. Our services are designed to improve comfort, manage symptoms and deal with other difficulties such as emotional distress and grief. The hospice team also provides emotional and spiritual support to families and friends as they cope with caring for a loved one with an advanced illness, and the grief they experience after their loved one dies.
