Leaders in Training For Tomorrow Chaperones are needed. This is the perfect volunteer opportunity for the person who wants to be a part of Girl Scouts but doesn’t have the time to commit to leading a troop. LIFT (Leaders In Training For Tomorrow) is a unique, in school program through Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania, designed to serve 'at risk girls’ in grades six through twelve. We hold special events, trips, and camping--experiences that many of these girls never dream of having. As a chaperone, you will mentor girls as they attend cultural or sporting events; camp and hike in the woods; visit colleges; go on a special end of year trip, all planned by the girls themselves! Help them build their futures, one experience at a time!
