We deliver a hot meal to homebound residents of Hendricks County. Many times we are often the only people they will see during a day. It brings a sure smile to your face when a happy client waives and smiles at the window.
Please Note: Due to Covid-19 delivery is contactless. We plan to resume our normal delivery policies as soon as it is safe to do so.
Drivers pick up hot meals at Hendricks Regional Health and deliver them to 1 of 10 routes through Hendricks County. It takes as little as a two hours a month to make a difference. Pick up is at 11am during the week, so availability from 11am - 1p is necessary! You can choose the area you are most comfortable with!

Mission Statement
The mission of Meals on Wheels of Hendricks County, Inc. is to help alleviate hunger and allow residents to stay in their homes. Our program provides and delivers nutritious meals to approved recipients. To be eligible, the recipient must be homebound and without the ability to have adequate meals prepared.
Description
We deliver hot meals to homebound residents of Hendricks County that are unable to prepare meals on their own. This allows them to reside in their homes instead of relocating to assisted living/other care options.
