Mission Statement
Because Jesus Christ calls His believers to be in service to the poor and needy among us, F.I.S.H. endeavors to respond to the spiritual, physical and financial needs of Walton County residents.
Description
F.I.S.H. is 21-year plus outreach ministry sponsored by various churches in Walton County.
Conceived by the local ministerial association as a way to respond to the truly needy in the community, F.I.S.H. operates as a nonprofit charity with 501 (c) (3) status, making all donations tax-deductible.
Local churches provide spiritual guidance, financial support and food.
We are a volunteer driven charity with more than 200 volunteers. The Board of Directors is comprised of ministers, volunteers and representatives from supporting churches and organizations.
F.I.S.H. operates a needs-based ministry office, food pantry, a free medical clinic and dental clinic, and two thrift stores.
Additionally, FISH operates FISH4Kids-a summer feeding program for at risk children and Backpack Buddies for at risk students during the school year. It also provides an annual FISH/Secret Santa Program.
