You are the highlight of our kids' week! You show them the extra special attention they need and offer practical support to our Afterschool Teachers in the classroom.

As a volunteer with Side by Side Kids, you partner with our vision of developing servant leaders and heroes of tomorrow. You build connections during Snack Time, tutor during Homework Time, walk through a faith-based curriculum at Crew Time, and have fun together during Recreation Time.

Description

Side by Side Kids is a faith-based, afterschool program anchored in East Austin’s St. John community. We journey side-by-side with kids from kindergarten to 5th grade, encouraging and equipping them to reach their highest God-given potential as everyday leaders and heroes of tomorrow.

We are committed to tutoring and inspiring our kids to reach academic excellence and encouraging them to make wise choices as we share the love and truth of the heart-changing Gospel with them.
