Location: Medlock Commons Self Storage

3120 Medlock Bridge Rd, Suite 100 (in the rear of business park), Norcross, GA

Medlock Commons Business Park

We will distribute clothing to

homeless men, women and children

We are in need of caps, gloves, scarves and new socks for the homeless


Please clean out your closets and donate any of the clothing you are willing to share

Volunteers are needed to bring the following items for our blessing bags:

Toothpaste

Toothbrush and cover

Deodorant

Lotion

Face towel

Shaving cream and razors

Hair brush or comb

Soap and soap cover

Conditioning shampoo

Feminine hygiene products (tampons or pads)

These are everyday things that can be bought in any dollar store that we can make such a differencein a homeless person's life

The distribution area will be downtown Atlanta

We will also be sorting and organizing inventory from the storage unit.

Our goal is to provide supportive services to homeless women and children and partner with the community at large to help better their lives.

Description

Lift Up Atlanta, Inc. is a volunteer organization that provides basic care, recreational activities, hot meal programs etc. for homeless women and children. We also help feed the hungry with food drives and providing meals.

We partner with other non profit organizations to provide toys at Christmas, seasonal food baskets, furniture move-ins for the homeless, summer lunch programs for kids, back packs/school supplies for kids etc..

Our ultimate goal is provide transitional housing for homeless women and children and a resource center so that they can get all the services that they need to empower them to have a much better life.
