ORGANIZATION: Lost Our Home Pet Rescue

Greeter/Data Entry: The receptionist is the first face our clients and potential adopters see! Greet clients and other walk-ins, direct to view animals or to staff member, answer general questions. This position also includes data entry, and other data clean-up as needed.

Requirements: Experience with Google docs/spreadsheets, internet browsers. Previous data entry experience a plus. Must feel comfortable greeting clients and answering phones. Time requirements: 10:30 - 2:30 shift & 2:30 - 6:30 shift at least once weekly.

Mission Statement

The mission of Lost Our Home Pet Rescue is to ensure that all pets have loving homes when families face major life challenges. We provide compassionate options when Realtors and the community find an abandoned pet.

Description

Lost Our Home Pet Foundation was formed by a group of realty professionals who saw a need to help pets abandoned or displaced by the current housing crisis. We have several programs we offer to help pets that have been affected by the economy. First and foremost we rescue pets that have been abandoned in foreclosed homes. We also offer options for families in crisis to be able to surrender their pet for adoption and not bring them to a shelter or take advantage of our temporary foster program. The Temporary Care Program gives families in crisis a safe place to leave their pets while they transition to a new living environment where they can re-claim their pets again. Our Furry Friends Foodbank is for families who qualify to receive help with pet food and pet supplies in a crisis. This allows them to keep their furry family members with them, and keeps that family's pets out of the shelter/rehoming system.
