We are looking for volunteers who can assist in the care and maintenance of cats, kittens, dogs and puppies while they wait to be adopted. Volunteers are needed at adoption events to assist with pet adoptions: setting up for adoption events, answering questions from potential pet parents, cleaning up after adoption events and lots of TLC for pets while they wait to be adopted. Volunteers are needed for fundraising events and to answer and respond to phones calls and email messages. Must have a positive attitude, willing to work with others and love cats and dogs. Sorry, but our insurance does not allow us to accept volunteers under the age of 18.

Mission Statement
The Bark & Meow Foundation assists animal rescue organizations and individuals find forever, permanent homes for companion pets that have been abandoned, abused or exploited, including pets on death row in local shelters. We assist in helping companion pets belonging to the elderly, homeless and victims of domestic abuse. We also participate in feral cat trap-neuter-return programs (TNR) an support causes that close down puppy mills.
Description
The Bark & Meow Foundation assists animal rescue organizations and individuals in the online placement of homeless companion pets so they may find their permanent, forever homes. We also assist in helping animal rescue organizations find qualified volunteers who are 18 years of age or older to help with the ongoing care and maintenance of cats, kittens, dogs and puppies as they wait to be adopted.
