Eugene Science Center is looking for dedicated volunteers to help us with our educational programming. Show of demos on the museum floor, run craft and science project tables at our special events, and work with kids and families to teach science in a fun, accessible way. We provide all the training necessary and a monthly meting to keep you up to date! Volunteers must be 15 or older and be able to commit to an average of one shift a week.

Description
Founded in 1961, the Eugene Science Center's mission is to engage, excite, and inspire children toward a lifelong love of learning about science, technology, and humanity. We strive to do this through interactive exhibitions, planetarium shows, and educational programs on many scientific fields and concepts. We serve 35,000 visitors each year, including 6,000 K-8 children who participated in educational programs such as school field trips, holiday/vacation programs, and summer camps. Formerly the Science Factory.
