ORGANIZATION: Year Up New York

  • 58 people are interested

Year Up New York is a nonprofit workforce development organization dedicated to closing the Opportunity Divide among underserved young adults. Our students are ages 18-24 and undergo a rigorous training process that prepares them for fulfilling careers in Information Technology, Financial Operations, Project Management, or Quality Assurance.

So where do you come in?

In our new Enrichment and Wellness seminar program, we are seeking volunteer nutrition and wellness experts to educate our students on the value of personal health maintenance. This includes: the value of superfoods, making healthy and frugal fast food choices, stress management, etc. This would take place on alternating Saturdays for 1-3 hours beginning in March.

We look forward to hearing from you!
