Volunteers wanted! Are you looking for a way to give back? Do you have a hobby or special skills you would like to share with others? Do you enjoy talking and visiting with older adults? If you answered yes to any of these then please contact us and become a volunteer!
Biddeford Estates is always looking for caring and compassionate individuals to volunteer. Volunteering opportunities include:
- Gardening
- Reading to or visiting with residents
- Playing card or board games
- Arts and crafts
- Helping a resident write cards and letters
- Going for a walk with a resident
- Bringing in your certified therapy pet to visit with residents
- Sharing your own unique skills and interests
We hope to make your volunteering experience as positive and rewarding as possible, so if you have any suggestions for volunteer activities that our residents may enjoy, just let us know, and we will do our best to make it happen.
When you volunteer you give a small piece of yourself, but get back so much more in return.
