It’s not surprising that hospice volunteers consistently describe their experiences as personally rewarding and fulfilling. Helping others as they near the end of their lives is a profoundly moving experience. You have the opportunity to share your volunteer talents and make a positive impact on a life. If direct contact with terminally ill patients is not for you there are many different ways to help as a volunteer. For example, letter writing 2 times a month, reading to patient, watching TV, Listening to music.
