The Guadalupe River Park Conservancy is looking for volunteer help staffing the front desk of its Visitor & Education Center on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Two through four hour shifts available. Light duty answering phones and greeting visitors. Possible special project work if desired. This is a perfect position for a retired person looking to work indoors or a reliable college student looking for internship hours. Familiarity with computers and Internet access preferred.
The Guadalupe River Park Conservancy provides education and volunteer opportunities within the River Park and advocates for ongoing development and stewardship of the park.

Description
The Guadalupe River Park Conservancy provides community leadership for the development and active use of the Guadalupe River Park & Gardens through education, advocacy and stewardship. Past efforts by the Conservancy contributed to collaboration among government agencies and community interest groups seeking to solve problems related to the Guadalupe River flood control project. The Conservancy is continually involved in completing the master plans for both the park and gardens, creating educational programs, promoting awareness of the Park & Gardens, and developing membership and volunteer opportunities to increase public support and involvement.
