If you are passionate about gardening, patient, and love working with kids, we have a great opportunity for you! Casa de Amparo, an organization that exists to treat and prevent child abuse and neglect, is looking for 1 to 2 people to help our children plant and grow their own produce in our raised garden beds. These small gardening beds can play a large role in the children's lives. Gardening is not only a great skill for our Casa Kids to learn, but it is also a therapeutic experience that they can benefit from. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please contact us!

Casa de Amparo's mission is to support those affected by and at risk of child abuse and neglect, through a range of programs and services that support healing, growth, and healthy relationships.
Description
Established in 1978, Casa de Amparo (Home of Protection ) is recognized as a leader in treating and preventing child abuse and neglect in San Diego County and beyond, with locations in Oceanside and San Marcos. The non-profit organization annually serves over 1,000 Casa Kids, from prenatal to 25 years old, as well as over 900 families, through six integrated programs that promote healing, growth, and healthy relationships. These programs include Residential Services , Counseling Services , Family Visitation , Hayward Child Development Center , New Directions , and Young Parent Network . Casa de Amparo is the San Diego Chargers Courage House, part of a national network of NFL teams and local charities dedicated to the prevention of child abuse.
