Are you interested in turning your "Passion into Action"? Are you interested in becoming the leader of an ongoing volunteer project that makes a difference in the local community? Do you have valuable experience managing groups of volunteers in the past? If so, you should consider attending this training and becoming a HandsOn Inland Empire Volunteer Leader!
Loma Linda University Children's Hospital is dedicated to helping families and their children lead a healthy lifestyle. All of their pediatric care is done in a compassionate supportive and nurturing environment. Each month children are hospitalized and their hospital beds and surroundings often become their home. HandsOn Inland Empire is looking for a volunteer to lead a small group of volunteers each month to help make greeting cards for children at the Loma Linda University Children's Hospital.
Volunteer Leader Responsibilities:
- Make meaningful greeting cards for children
- Leading volunteers in project
- Coordinate with HandsOn Inland Empire for the delivery of these cards to drop off locations
HandsOn Inland Empire Volunteer Leaders make a long-term commitment (ideally at least 6 months) to lead on a monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly basis depending on the program and their availability.
