Hello from THE ONE LESS FOUNDATION, we are a nonprofit organization based in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. Our mission here at THE ONE LESS FOUNDATION is to fight poverty by educating families and individuals in financial literacy. We are looking for an individual to manage day-to-day office operations for a nonprofit organization. This is a part-time volunteer position (7-10 hours per week) with potential to become a part-time paid position. The position can either work 5 days per week, or 2 or 3 days out of the week.

Proficiency in Microsoft office (excel, word, outlook etc), data entry skills, ability to multi-task and punctuality are a must. Knowledge of nonprofit organizations and related software is appreciated, but not a must. You will need to pass a background check and sign/adhere to a confidentiality agreement. Below is a list of duties you will be expected to perform.

1. Answer phones and respond to general emails.

2. Stock/organize office supplies(help with inventory of materials)

3. Update/track organization volunteer online profiles on various websites

4. Tracking participants and volunteers using registration software

5. Organizing volunteer/ contacts list on in-house software

6. Complete back-end of online registration of participants

7. Contacting potential volunteers

8. Initial point of contact for potential volunteers

9. Contacting participants as they register for programs via on-line registration and emails

10. Updating/organizing files (paper & electronic)

There are also opportunities to help with event planning and fundraisers.
