Do you have experience training and showing dogs? Do you like working with youth ages 8-18 and their animals? We have an opportunity for caring adults to help young dog owners complete their 4-H dog projects in a hands-on, learn-by-doing environment. We would love to draw more kids into our excellent youth development program, and many families have dogs, but we need leaders to work with existing 4-H clubs in our dog program. 4-H members learn how to train for showmanship, obedience, and rally with some agility for fun as well. For more information contact Lisa Sholten, CSU Extension Agent/4-H Youth Development at (303) 271-6620.
