THC - Housing Families, Transforming Lives is seeking green-thumbed, gardeners and garden educators ready to support us in planning & implementing a garden program with the youth living in our continuum of housing. Our youth are typically between the ages of 5-11. Our garden program seeks to empower formerly homeless or at-risk youth to grow their own foods, make healthy food choices and become part of the larger DC gardening community.
