Do you love to keep moving and work with a team? Why stuff envelopes or sit at a desk?

Uhuru Furniture has an ongoing need for volunteer furniture movers to work in our busy, bustling storefront and go out on our furniture donation pick-ups in our truck. It is the perfect volunteer opportunity if you are strong and like being active. It is also perfect if you need a lot of community service hours because we are open 6 days a week and there are plenty of shifts available.

We have a great team, wonderful customers and it’s a great place to be because we’re all working together to raise money for the programs of the African People’s Education and Defense Fund - health and economic development programs by and for the black community (more info at apedf.org)
