Tutors play a valuable role in the success of a child. The tutor works one on one with the child to provide assistance with improved academic skills. You could be the difference in the academic success of a child. Academic success builds self esteem, which in turn produces success in all aspects of the child's life. The role of a tutor often becomes more than just help with homework, also an important friendship.

Orchard Place, a premier provider of children’s mental health and behavioral services, has served Iowa’s children since 1886. Orchard Place works with many of the state’s most emotionally troubled children, providing inpatient, outpatient and community-based services by highly skilled child therapists and caseworkers in an effort to help children develop strong futures.
