This is a volunteer clerical position. The volunteer assists with various duties as instructed by staff in the school, department or program office. The volunteer is given a choice of location easiest for them to commute to, North, South, East or West. Volunteers must be dependable and flexible, following the directions/guidance of a staff person for the most immediate needs of the day. Volunteers must work well with school staff and students. The following office skills are a plus:

- Good communication skills
- Friendly and willing to learn new things

Description
Washoe County School District is an educational organization for Kindergarten thru 12th grade.
Volunteer Services is responsible for the assessment, development of volunteer programs, marketing/recruiting, screening, orientation/training, placement/coordination, recognition and retention of community volunteers tutors providing academic support for WCSD schools.
