The best prescription for loneliness is friendship. For the homebound older adult who has little social contact, the perfect prescription can be a Friendly Visitor. The WCCS Friendly Visitor Program matches trained volunteers to older adults who need a friend.

RSVP enriches the lives of men and women, age 55 and over, through meaningful volunteer service that use their time and abilities to impact the Warren County community.
Description
Make a Difference in Your Community!
The RSVP Volunteer Program provides opportunities for individuals 55 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. RSVP volunteers contribute anywhere from a few to over forty hours a week, serving at schools, museums, and other nonprofit and public organizations to help meet critical community needs. RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of the volunteer with opportunities to help impact the community. The program offers supplemental insurance while volunteering and training from the agency or organization where volunteers are placed.
