JA’s purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. JA provides the training, curriculum, and classrooms.
For the 2015/2016 school year, we will be recycling JA curriculum supplies. This project will enable us to reach even more students without spending additional funds, while reducing our carbon footprint.
Recycling volunteers help by counting, sorting, and repackaging returned JA materials into new material "kits" to be used in classrooms.
Recycling takes place , Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 3pm. Volunteer availability will begin September 3rd. If you have a group that is interested in setting up a weekend date for a recycling event, please contact us.

Mission Statement
Junior Achievement inspires and prepares young people to succeed in a global economy.
Description
Junior Achievement uses hands-on experiences to help young people understand the economics of life. In partnership with business and educators, Junior Achievement brings the real world to students, opening their minds to their potential. After all, kids are our future.
Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay serves 12 counties including the entire Tampa Bay Area. Junior Achievement is a volunteer driven, non-profit organization. This year more than 3,100 business professionals, parents, retirees and college students will enter our schools to teach Junior Achievement programs. These volunteers use their personal experiences to make the Junior Achievement curricula practical and realistic. Providing children with positive adult role models, who illustrate ways to build self-confidence, develop skills and find avenues of success in our free enterprise system, is a hallmark of Junior Achievement.
