Your enthusiasm and experience are needed to help fulfill our mission!

Join us in the classroom for an upcoming JA in a Day event.

This opportunity provides you the opportunity to make a difference with Hillsborough County elementary and middle school kids by using Junior Achievement lessons to help students make connections between the classroom and real life.

Volunteers are needed from 8:30am-12:30pm. Please contact us for additional information.

Junior Achievement inspires and prepares young people to succeed in a global economy.

Description

Junior Achievement uses hands-on experiences to help young people understand the economics of life. In partnership with business and educators, Junior Achievement brings the real world to students, opening their minds to their potential. After all, kids are our future.

Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay serves 12 counties including the entire Tampa Bay Area. Junior Achievement is a volunteer driven, non-profit organization. This year more than 3,100 business professionals, parents, retirees and college students will enter our schools to teach Junior Achievement programs. These volunteers use their personal experiences to make the Junior Achievement curricula practical and realistic. Providing children with positive adult role models, who illustrate ways to build self-confidence, develop skills and find avenues of success in our free enterprise system, is a hallmark of Junior Achievement.
