Advocate Hospice is looking for friendly volunteers to make weekly phone calls to our patients. Volunteer callers will call 8-10 patients a week to check in with them and see how they are doing and to ask if they have any needs such as medication refills or medical equiopment.
Volunteer callers will provide another layer of support to our patients and their families.
Volunteers will come into our Des Plaines office to make the calls so they will have staff support nearby.
All volunteers will be given an extensive 16 hour training.
