Are you experienced & comfortable with cats & dogs? Join Cats In Tow's nonprofit sanctuary/transitional OC Animal Care kennel licensed home to take care of our dogs and kitties; walk dogs; clean cages, litterboxes, and center. Enjoy socializing and playing with our kitties and dogs. We need experienced & reliable volunteers committed to help once a week: Schedule discussed at first visit (2-3 hr minimum). Weds--Thurs--Fri - 10am-1pm or 1-4pm . Must have reliable transportation and keep a consistent schedule. ADULTS, COLLEGE STUDENTS, SENIORS & VET ATTENDING/TECHS WELCOMED. Mission Statement
To provide a conduit (bridge) for abandoned and released cats and dogs to be placed in forever homes; To provide a sanctuary for unadoptable cats and dogs and feral cats to live out their lives in a clean, healthy environment with appropriate vet care support as needed.
Description
Established in May 2012, the Cats In Tow Rescue & Sanctuary cares for adoptable cats at the Cat Adoption Center at Petsmart Brea, Imperial/Kraemer 24/7 and holds weekend adoption shows. We maintain sanctuary cats and practice TNR. We always need help to make sure our cats/kittens are well socialized and adoptable. Volunteers are part of a large team that perform a number of necessary tasks in order to keep the program running smoothly. Our cats are featured on Adopt a Pet.com and on Facebook.com/Cats InTow plus our blog. Fosters always needed!
